Malaysia's National Day of Mourning For MH17 Victims

Malaysia's government declares Friday, August 22 2014 as a National Day Of Mourning For Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 Victims which crashed on Thursday when it was shot down while flying over Donetsk in Eastern Ukraine.

The remains of 20 citizens were brought home from Amsterdam's Schiphol International Airport and arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport today. Malaysian were advised to wear black attires today, the national flag will be flown at half-mast and festive activities would not be held in order to pay respect to the tragic victims. In addition, a minute's silence in memory of the crash victims was observed at 10.45 am local time in Malaysia.
