Few days after my recent exam, I kept playing this song repeatedly. 'Best Day Of My Life' is a song by American Authors, an American band. The song is from their 'Oh, What A Life' album.Initially I got to know about this song end of last year. Personally, I think the song has a very cheerful tone and the lyrics are awesome. Several days ago, my friends introduce me to this relatively new cafe in town for a taste of its waffle. The cafe is none other than 'Atlas Coffee Embassy' which is located at Mount Austin, Johor. Upon my entrance to the cafe, I was rather amazed by the clean design of the place. Despite its simplicity, it was vividly different from any other cafes that I have visited. The place looked bright and  the seats were cozy, not to mention the loveliest workers I have ever encountered. Each time customers walked into the cafe, the waitresses would greet them joyously.


Little did I know that the owner of Atlas Coffee Embassy is JH Yee, the 2012 Malaysian Barista Champion and TimeOut KL Food Personality. If I know earlier, I would definitely try the coffee there! (I lied, I prefer tea over coffee) The cafe was officially opened on Saturday, December 13, 2014.

After reading through the menus, we decided to order Atlas Specialty Breakfast and Butter and Syrup Waffle. There's this adorable little menu specifically for Atlas Specialty Breakafast for where we would pick few selections of the food to be served on the platter, depending on the price that we picked. When the food was served, they were simply delicious that we gobbled up the food in less than fifteen minutes. The sauted mushrooms were flavourful while the waffles were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I felt that the waffles would taste better if creams were served along with the waffles. Overall, the experience at the cafe was a sweet one and I will definitely visit the cafe again in future! Till then, au revoir! :)

On January 23, 2015,Wang Lee Hom aka LeeHom Wang (王力宏) released a new album entitled 'Your Love' (你的爱). The album comprises of 15 songs and he finally releases new album after 4 years of long hiatus. That being said, I have the opportunity to listen to him singing live just a day after the album is released thanks to the Ecoworld Starlight Concert 2015 which was held on January 24, 2015! Needless to say, it was just an amazing experience.

On top of that, this actually was my first time attending a concert ever in my life! Incredibly sweet experience I have to say. Three hours of concert along with about 15 minutes of fireworks display, it was purely mental! Cheers were heard vividly upon Lee Hom's appearance on stage and he was simply impeccable at live shows. I have tried to upload his live performance of 'Your Love'  (你的爱) directly in Blogspot but unfortunately the video is too large (450mb) and I have no choice but to upload it in the YouTube. I am positive that the song is mainly about the on and off relationship between Selena Gomez herself and her ex beau Justin Bieber. It was released on November 6, 2014 along with its black and white music video where Selena Gomez revealing her inner feelings and thoughts about herself. I think it is another great production by Selena Gomez! Selena revealed that both Justin Bieber and her BFF Taylor Swift love the song.

'I Lived' is the sixth single off OneRepublic's 'Native' (2013) album. The music video is a touching tribute to a 15 years old lad, Bryan Warnecke who lives with Cystic Fibrosis.
It portrays the life that Bryan has gone through since he was small and diagnosed with the hereditary disease. Despite the illness, Bryan is living his life to the fullest- bicycling, skateboarding and playing hockey.The clips also shows footage of his childhood life in between Ryan Teddy's performance on stage as well as Bryan's current life. What I find inspiring is the passion that Bryan has to live on. He, along with his team mates have ridden over 1 200 miles and  raised $300 000 for Cystic Fibrosis research.

"It's just one of those things that really makes you appreciate life. It makes me appreciate where you are, as a person. I want to make the most out of my life and have fun as I possibly can and my biggest fear is not being able to do that." - Bryan Warnecke

Woon Kiang Restaurant

Restaurant Woon Kiang is one of the famous kway teow kia shops available in Stulang, Johor. Without much hesitation, my friends and I went to the shop to try one of Johor's signature food, kway teow kia. Kway teow kia is actually flat rice noodles that are cut into square shapes. I have to admit that the kway teow kia served by Woon Kiang Restaurant is undeniably scrumptious, It was smooth and soft, not to mention the freshness of it.

In the music video for their latest single ' Sugar', Maroon 5 literally crashes wedding ceremonies across Los Angeles. 'Sugar' is also one of the songs from Maroon 5's latest album, V.

"We're gonna drive across L.A. and hit every wedding we possibly can, It's gonna be awesome." Adam Levine stated at the beginning of the music video, which was recorded on 16 December 2014.

Obiously, the brides and grooms were clearly bewildered when a bunch of people dressed in tuxedos came in and were installing this mini stage with white cloths covering the interior of the stage. Maroon 5 members then sneaked in and prepared on the stage to sing some songs for the newly-weds.

 As the white curtains were removed, the brides and grooms were utterly shocked and delighted by their presence to their wedding ceremonies! The rest then joined in and dance as the band performed magnificently for them. I think that it is such a great and sweet thing for Maroon 5 to do that! Bravo Maroon 5! Lately, the western cafes are vividly mushrooming in town. In total so far, this is the third branch of Just Want Coffee that I have visited in Johor. Headmost Cafe by Just Want Coffee, is located at Taman Pelangi, Johor. What I like the most about Just Want Coffee is the cosy environment that they portray at their shops. The thing that separates Headmost from other branches of Just Want Coffee cafes is that they integrate both cafe and boutique together!

The first floor is the cafe while the second floor happens to be Headmost boutique, an US's brand of casual men's clothing which is eminent for their jockey caps (I guess so because your jaws will definitely drop when you see the prices of the clothings there #bewarned #handlewithcare). The main reason my friends and I visited the cafe is to try the signature premium honey toast which is ONLY AVAILABLE at this branch of Just Want Coffee! Out of few choices in the menu, we picked the strawberry toast. After waiting for somewhat 30 minutes, the waiter finally served us the massive square-shaped toast right before our eyes.

The toast is actually a hollow square bread filled with layers of breadsticks and topped with strawberry ice cream, cream, fresh strawberries, strawberry-coated biscuits and an oreo. It was so gorgeously presented, that we hardly want to destroy it like a caveman!


The breadsticks were crunchy and dipping it with the strawberry jams, cream and ice cream that were provided was simply incredible!

Overall, it is definitely worth trying out the toast and the cafe as well. Beautifully decorated and nice service by the waiters. Awesome decorations. Till then au revoir!
