Having breakfast at Eight Lido restaurant on a sunny bright Sunday morning was indeed a pleasure. It is located at Pantai Lido, Johor Bahru. Eight Lido is in fact a British designed bungalow that is converted into a wine bar, restaurant and lounge. The restaurant was named after its location as well as  house number. There is a wide and beautiful garden outside the building with a somewhat very architectural building that is actually a washroom for the customers. The environment of the place is ambient which is a perfect spot for families to spend their weekend relaxing.






We have actually come to the restaurant previously but unfortunately it was closed for it was having a special occasion. Luckily, it was open during this visit. Despite their systems are having problems which required us to pay the exact amount of money, we insisted that it was alright for us.
After glancing through the menu, we ordered two sets of breakfast, namely the American Breakfast Set and the Grilled Mediterranean. Being a meticulous person, I noticed the fine lines at the bottom of the menu stated that we would be given a 10% discount should we check-in at Eight Lido in our Facebook account. However, the promotion was not valid as the system was down, hence we actually have to pay for the original prices!

The Menu

 We shared them amongst four of us and they were equally scrumptious! The scrambled eggs were soft not too runny, just the right texture that we loved. Also the salmons were fresh and tender, not to mention the delectable tomatoes that were coated with a layer of baked cheese! The sliced mushrooms were sauted well! Although the toasts were crispy, they were slightly too hard. Whereas the wedges and hash brown were similar to those in fast food chains. Overall, the food and place were incredible and I will definitely revisit the place in future. Without further ado, I will let the food speaks for themselves. Till then, au revoir! :)
