Couple of days ago my friends and I were back on exploring Johor Bahru city in search of delicious food! After doing some findings through Google, we found this fascinating fish ball noodle shop, 'Lai Kee Restaurant' which is of course famous for its signature dish, the fish balls!


It is located at Taman Ungku Aminah and it has been opening since 1987, which is more than 25 years ago!The restaurant is handled by the owner, Mr Lai himself and he is the one responsible for cooking delectable fish ball soup and noodles all these years.

As avid fish ball lovers, we have practically ordered every dishes available in the shop, ranging from fish ball noodle soups, fish cakes to bean curd skins. The fish balls were so springy and the fish cakes were firm, not to mention the crispiness of the bean curd skin. All of them were so delicious! Frankly to say, the photos that I have taken did not do them justice to the food as the colour were a bit dull, which I have no idea why they would turn out such way.
