Lady Gaga opened the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 by performing her lead single, "APPLAUSE" from her upcoming album "ARTPOP" marvelously.In the beginning of her show,she was in a flying nun costume with a blockhead.During the entire performance she changed her attire again and again, in total 4 sets, including  her wigs! Why hello there!When you are at Bugis in Singapore, Bugis Plus is definitely a must-visit place, not to mention the famous Ramen Champion which is located at the fourth floor of Bugis Plus. There are 6 popular ramen shops in a single place battling against one other in order to gain the title as the Ramen Champion!I have tried one of the stall, Gantetsu for its famous Special Gyouza,Spicy Miso Ramen, Miso Ramen with Butter and Corn as well as the No.1 hit Special Miso Ramen! With its crispy edges and juicy filling, the delectable gyouzas is indeed one of the best gyouzas I have ever tasted. For the mouth-watering Ramens, the broth is so creamy and aromatic where once you have tasted it, you can't stop yourself !The meat is utterly tender and the eggs were cooked till perfection!Personally I felt that the spicy miso ramen had the right amount of chilli in it(probably because I can bear the spiciness) and the environment is so zen-mode that you will probably feel that you yourself are currently in Japan (exaggeration) ! Desiring for ribs yet doesnt want to burn a hole in your pockets? Well you are lucky if you're in Singapore, as The Cafe Cartel might just be your solution!Dayum. Recently I have had my lunch at this particular restaurant with my cousins by using the discount coupons that she had bought online. We managed to try the famous St Louis Pork Ribs at a lower price than normal which is about $12.00+ only!Seriously I can tell you if you compared the price to the size of the ribs, you will be shocked that you can get this humongous size of pork ribs with just over $11~! 3 pieces of fried tofu

1 fresh cucumber

Sauce
5 tablespoons of sweet and sour sauce

2 teaspoons of sugar

1 teaspoon of chilli sauce

Instructions

1. Clean the cucumber thoroughly. Shred the cucumber by using a shredder

2. (Optional) Put the shredded cucumber into a container and then into refrigerator for minimum 2 hours.

3. Cut each square tofu from one corner to another forming 2 triangles.Cut out a thin pocket along the non-fried side of the triangle.

4. Stuff generous amount of cucumber slices into the pocket of the fried tofu. Be careful  not to break the tofu.

5. Prepare the sauce by mixing 5 tablespoons of sweet and sour sauce, 2 teapoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of chilli sauce in a bowl.

6. You're done! The stuffed tofus are best served chill. :)

Oh god, it was probably one of the longest day in my life. Anxiously waiting for the time to pass by, I chat-ed with my friends while listening to some country music by Joe Brooks! For that moment I felt that the time was ticking as slow as tortoise. Tick Tick Tick.... And the time has come. 13/8/2013 1300 EST. All the A-Level Students were visibly nervous, checking their RESULTS ...ARGHH, my hands were sweating profusely, unable to accept the fact that D-Day has finally came. I was petrified, fearing my results would be bad/disastrous. After what seemed eternity ( actually 2 hours), I mustered all my energy, logged in to https://myresults.cie.org.uk/ and I keyed in my username and password. Holy cow, I cant believed it. Rubbing my eyes, I checked again once more. Thank god, it is beyond my expectation! C:
While not everyone get to achieve desired grades,fret not guys,life doesn't just end here. Keep fighting! Excel in degree instead. Aim for bigger dreams. Just because the past didnt turn out like you wanted it to,doesnt mean your future cant be better than you ever imagined.

Anyway I would like to take this opportunity to congrats all the other CAL students who get their desired results!Especially Tom Daley! A* in photography, A in Spanish and an A in maths!Till then , bye! :)

Well two months have passed since the end of terrifying and intensed A-Level days.I have practically fully utilized my holidays; traveling back and forth between Singapore and Malaysia, working temporarily at the college, involved in camps, attending cousins' wedding/engagement event, learning guitar, painting and the list goes on. Of course, how can I ever forget my main objectives....which is FOOD HUNTING! Blame me for being a lazybum who does not even take the time update his blog although he is as free as a bird. Thus from now onwards ,I pledge to post new stuffs as frequently as possible. The Day which I mean is none other than the RESULTS day for Cambridge A Level students,be it AS or A2 or both! While some of my friends are waiting anxiously for their AS (Advanced Subsidiary) results, I am waiting for the A2 (Advanced Level) with the rest. It will definitely be one of the most important event in my life ! Feeling anxious+nerve-wracking+sleep deprivation+fatigued all at the same time is seriously not cool! Hence I am going to rest now. I will update my blog soon.Good luck to all CAL students! Wish me luck as well! Till then,bye. :)
