New Zealander singer-songwriter Ella Yelich-O'Connor known by her stage name Lorde becomes eminent when her first single "Royals" reached number one on New Zealand Top 40 as well as US Billboard Hot 100, making her the first solo artist from New Zealand to actually get the top spot in US chart!To my chagrin, Lorde is born on 7 November 1996 , which means she is only 17 this year! What a marvelous achievement by a young girl when most of the teenagers at such young age are still at school, being dependent on their parents for financial support! Her current hits has been covered by various singers including Selena Gomez, Tyler Ward and the likes.In my opinion, the music sounds rather peculiar yet intriguing, making me having desire listen the song over and over again.
