Weeks ago, I visited this Jang Won Korean Restaurant at Stulang, Johor with couple of my college friends. It is located at second floor of a building where we had to climbed up 2 fleets of narrow stairs before reaching the restaurant. There are two areas where you can choose to dine-in; the air-conditioned rooms and the open air areas. We picked the air-conditioned room and was given menus to order some food. Upon lengthy discussion, we made up our mind to order a-la-carte instead of sets as I did not consume beef and it was more worth it to order separately rather than request the waiter to change the beef to chicken/ pork. At last, we ordered a plate of spicy rice cakes and a platter of pork. 

As usual in Korean restaurants, we were served with multiple side dishes. The best thing about dining in a Korean Restaurant is that you can refill the side dish without limit! #studentsavingtips . Unfortunately, this restaurant restricts us from refilling all the side dishes all at once. The waiter told us that we could only refill maximum two dishes at one time. This is completely different from what I have experienced in Jeju Korean Restaurant at Bukit Indah, Johor where I could refill all the dishes at once. 

Anyway, I found the pork slices were just alright probably because the sauce available was not 

as tasty as the one in Jeju Korean Restaurant. However, the spicy rice cake was delicious as the rice cakes were soft and the spicy sauce that was poured on the rice cakes was scrumptious! The service of the waiters there were great as they cook the pork for us and even brought a jar of green tea for us without us moving! There is even a small playroom for the children and although the toilets were quite small, it is clean hygienic! At the end of the lunch, we could redeem one free ice cream each from the ice-cream station near the counter of the restaurant. That's all for now. I will let the pictures do the talking.
