Right after first examination of second year, my friends and I went out to celebrate one of our friend's 21st birthday! Without any plannings being done prior to the outings, we decided to wander around the Sutera Mall, in hope of discovering new restaurants or cafes that we have yet to explore in the area. Perhaps lady luck was with us, we found out that there was this new restaurant called ' Second Floor Cafe' which is located at near Sutera Mall. 

Yes, aligned to the shop's name, it is indeed  opens at the second floor, which is just above AnMour Cafe. Coincidentally, I find that the food that are sold by both AnMour and Second Floor cafes are quite similar , in a sense that they are selling western food. Hence, we decided to try out that cafe and entered through a small path which lead us up to the cafe. The cafe itself is wonderfully decorated with arrays of coloured wooden plates as the walls and the floor tiles were just some of the most prettiest tiles that I have ever seen in  a cafe!

We were ushered by the waiter to a six comfy seats table. On that day, there was this promotion where we could get the waffle for half price provided that we ordered any sorts of coffee before 6.00pm. We frantically ordered this unique affogato coffee followed by apple toffee flavoured waffles. To my utter shock, the four pieces of waffles costs about RM 19.90 #forreal per plate. Affogato coffee is acutally a type of coffee where a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream topped with a shot of hot espresso. 

Anyway, each of us proceeded to order our main course, from Teriyaki Chicken Cheese Burger to spaghetti ( I could not recall the prices and names of some food as my friend threw away the recipt :\ ) . The environment of the cafe is quite nice, with a soft background music of current songs being played. The food were amazingly presented and the taste of the food were as good as they seemed. Oddly enough, the apple toffee sauce tasted somewhat similar to pineapple jams rather than apple sauce.

The Teriyaki Chicken Cheese Burger that I had ordered was good. The chicken was succulent and filled with the aromatic smell of the teriyaki sauce. The breads were soft yet not soggy. The only thing that made me felt nauseated was the fact that we saw a few small cockroaches creeping on our table! How unhygienic was that! Disappointed by the cleanliness of the cafe, we informed the boss of the cafe and finished our food, I will stop here for now. Till then, au revoir!
