Easy Strawberry Milkshake Recipe

Being a health-conscious person (somewhat), I do enjoy consuming healthy food to certain extent. Today I have made strawberry milkshake using fresh strawberries and milk! Although the strawberries are quite sour extremely sour, there is still a tinge of sweetness in them actually. Anyway, I have been waiting for ages to try this method that I have found in the internet to de-stem strawberries which is using #drumrolls a drinking straw! Now I understand why it's called 'STRAW'berry #laughs! The recipe is as follows:
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Servings: 3
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries
- 2 cups of fresh milk
- 1 cup of ice
- Honey (optional)
- Wash and rinse strawberries in a bowl of water.
- De-stem the strawberries using a drinking straw by pushing the straw up through the bottom of strawberries and push through until the stems are separated from the strawberries.
- Add strawberries, milk and ice into blender.
- Blend them until they are mixed thoroughly
- Add in some honey to give a sweet flavour to the milkshake if the strawberries are sour.
- Serve while they are cold.
