Due to fracture of his third lumbar vertebra, Neymar Jr is unable to participate in the upcoming semi-final match against Germany, and final should his team qualify, fighting for his beloved country Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup winner title! #sad Neymar Jr injured his back after clashing with Juan Camilo Zuniga, a Columbian player when Brazil was battling against Columbia for round of four! He was then stretchered off and taken to Hospital Sao Carlos in Fortaleza for treatment. Rodrigo Lasmar, the Brazilian team doctor, confirmed that Neymar Jr will not be able to join the upcoming matches. In addition, he stated that his injury is not too serious and does not require any operation. However, he will suffer some serious pain and his back will need to be immobilised. Neymar Jr was in Brazilian television programme a day after the incident. He has also released a short video through the Brazilian football association. Get well soon Neymar Jr!
