New York DJ duo The Chainsmokers released "Don't Let Me Down" on 5 February 2016, following their single "Roses". The song also features vocals of American singer Daya. On 29 April 2016, the music video was released on YouTube and so far it has reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100, making it the highest charting single for The Chainsmokers to date in the US.

In my humble opinion, the song is pretty decent to listen to but I am really confused with the music video of the song itself. For example, I cannot find any connection between the lip and the song, not to mention the gist of the entire video. I would be delighted if you guys could really explain it to me.
