"Scars To Your Beautiful" is yet again another amazing piece of song created by Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara for her debut studio album "Know-It-All". It was released on as her third single from the same album. Written by Cara herself along with Warren Felder, Coleridge Tillman and Andrew Wansel, Alessia states that this song talks about body image. While it is mainly targeting on fellow women, she thinks that men can relate to this song as well.

"I wanted to do this kind of video for a very long time. Since we had this song — and since we knew it was going to be a single — I had this vision of many different cinematic shots of different kinds of people. I wanted all kinds of people — young, old, whatever their situation, whether it's visible scars, non-visible scars — just a bunch of different women, and there are some men in there as well because it can reach out to guys too. But I wanted real shots of real people telling their stories, and showing the story through little vignettes." -Alessia Cara in Cosmopolitan interview.

The music video for this song features cancer survivors, transgenders, racial minorities and others who open out about their insecurities and flaws. In my opinion, this is a great song where it urges people to embrace themselves and more importantly, to accept themselves as who they are and love themselves.
