So, few days ago I have discovered an interesting YouTube video which shows a guy performing a medley of every hit song from 2000 to 2016 under one similar beat. I am pretty positive that most of you have never heard of this guy named Michael Constantino. Recently, he has just released his EP which is available on iTunes. He sang hits like Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself", Adele's "Hello", Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", Destiny Child's "Say My Name" and the likes. Amazingly, he was able to blend every song seamlessly and effortlessly although he did not know what song he was going to perform next, which make it more impressive! For those who are wandering, the background music that is used is none other than Mike Posner's "I Took A Pill In Ibiza (Seeb Remix)". Watch his performance in the video below and let me know your opinions in the comment box below! Till then, au revoir!

American pop rock band OneRepublic has recently released their latest single "Wherever I Go" from their fourth upcoming studio album on 13 May 2016. Written and produced by lead singer Ryan Tedder as well as bassist Brent Kutzle and producer Noel Zancanella, the music video of the song was directed by the Joseph Kahn. Despite appearing in the video for only a short period of time, the music video actually focuses on a day in the life of a Korean businessman who is stuck in his daily hectic routine.

The businessman (Kenneth Choi) wakes up as early as 6 in the morning everyday and encounters a world that consists of black, white and grey as everyone around him dresses the same and he feels that his life is filled with nothing but dullness. However, he flings his breifcase and starts dancing once he enters his office and his colleagues are bewildered and shocked looking at his unexpected behaviour. Nonetheless, they give into his energy and begin to join in but he still fails to court the woman he is attracted to.Then he enters a secret passageway containing OneRepublic and he watches them performing before his eyes. As soon as he steps back into the office, everything turns colourful and he was dancing happily with the woman he likes. Unfortunately, everything turns out to be his imagination and the video ends with everyone leaving the elevator.

What do your think of OneRepublic's "Wherever I Go" music video? Let me know in the comment box below. Till then, au revoir!

Wherever I Go lyrics

I know I could lie but I'm telling the truth
Wherever I go there's a shadow of you
I know I could try looking for something new
But wherever I go I'll be looking for you

Some people lie but they're looking for magic
Others are quietly going insane
I feel alive when I'm close to the madness
No easy love could ever make me feel the same

I know I could lie but I won't lie to you
Wherever I go you're the ghost in the room
I don't even try looking for something new
Cause' wherever I go I'll be looking for you

Some people try but they can't find the magic
Others get down on their knees and they pray
I come alive when I'm close to the madness
No easy love could ever make me feel the same
Make me feel the same
Make me feel the same, same, same

I know I could lie but I'm telling the truth
Wherever I go there's a shadow of you
I know I could try looking for something new
But wherever I go I'll be looking for you1

Wherever I go I'll be looking for you, you

Some people pray at their god for some magic
Cause' no easy love could ever make them feel the same
No easy love could ever make me feel the same
Make me feel the same, same, same

I know I could lie but I'm telling the truth
Wherever I go there's a shadow of you
I know I could try looking for something new
But wherever I go I'll be looking for you

You think it's a lie but I'm telling the truth
Wherever I go I'll be looking for you
Wherever I go I'll be looking for you

Danish soul-pop band Lukas Graham has released "7 Years" which is a song from their self-entitled second album, "Lukas Graham" on 18 September 2015 through Copenhagen Records. Currently, the music video has achieved over 175 million views as of May 2016 on YouTube. Hailing from Copenhagen, band's frontman Lukas Graham Forchhammer mentioned that "7 Years" is a song about his life throughout the years as well as his hopes for the future. He sings about his memories at the ages of 7, 11 and 20. In addition, he also imagines what life might be when he reaches 30 and 60. When the band started to rise to fame back in 2012, Lukas' father suddenly passed away at the age of 61. This unexpected event eventually caused Graham to grieve for some time before getting back up.

"It's a song about growing older. I'm also coming to a realisation that being a father is the most important thing. My biggest dream is not to be some negative old dude, but to have my kids' friends say, 'You're going to visit your dad? Say hi! He’s awesome.' I had a perfect father." -Lukas Graham

In my humble opinion, I think the song is easy to relate to and it shares a deep meaning to most of us. In addition, it also conveys a great message and advice that parents could give to their children. What do you think of the song? Let me know in the comment box below. Till then, au revoir.

7 Years lyrics

Once I was seven years old, my mama told me,
Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely.
Once I was seven years old

It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger
Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker
By eleven smoking herb and drinking burning liquor
Never rich so we were out to make that steady figure

Once I was eleven years old, my daddy told me,
Go get yourself a wife or you'll be lonely.
Once I was eleven years old

I always had that dream, like my daddy before me
So I started writing songs, I started writing stories
Something about that glory just always seemed to bore me
Cause only those I really love will ever really know me

Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
Before the morning sun, when life was lonely
Once I was twenty years old

I only see my goals, I don't believe in failure
Cause I know the smallest voices, they can make it major
I got my boys with me, at least those in favor
And if we don't meet before I leave, I hope I'll see you later

Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
I was writing about everything I saw before me
Once I was twenty years old

Soon we'll be thirty years old, our songs have been sold
We've traveled around the world and we're still roaming
Soon we'll be thirty years old

I'm still learning about life
My woman brought children for me
So I can sing them all my songs
And I can tell them stories
Most of my boys are with me
Some are still out seeking glory
And some I had to leave behind
My brother, I'm still sorry

Soon I'll be sixty years old, my daddy got sixty-one
Remember life, and then your life becomes a better one
I made a man so happy when I wrote a letter once
I hope my children come and visit once or twice a month

Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me?
Soon I'll be sixty years old

Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me?
Soon I'll be sixty years old

Once I was seven years old, my mama told me,
"Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely."
Once I was seven years old

Once I was seven years old

Adele is back again and releasing her third single "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" from her third studio album, "25" on 16 May 2016. The song was written by herself, not to mention Max Martin and Shellback. On 22 May 2016, the music video for the song was premiered during the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. The new minimalist video directed by Grammy-nominated director Patrick Daughters features Adele clad in floor length, Dolce & Gabbana floral patterned dress singing her song against a black backdrop as she appeared in kaleidoscopic form. In my honest opinion, I think Adele looks gorgeous in that dress as well as classy at its finest. She describes the song as a "happy you're gone" song. If you have not watched or listened to "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" already, watch the music video below and let me know your thoughts in the comment box. Till then, au revoir!

Send My Love (To Your New Lover) lyrics

Just the guitar, okay cool

This was all you, none of it me
You put your hands on, on my body and told me
Mmm
You told me you were ready
For the big one, for the big jump
I'd be your last love everlasting you and me
Mmm
That was what you told me

I'm giving you up
I've forgiven it all
You set me free-ee

Send my love to your new lover
Treat her better
We've gotta let go of all of our ghosts
We both know we ain't kids no more
Send my love to your new lover
Treat her better
We gotta let go of all of our ghosts
We both know we ain't kids no more

I was too strong you were trembling
You couldn't handle the hot heat rising (rising)
Mmm
Baby I'm still rising
I was running, you were walking
You couldn't keep up, you were falling down (down)
Mmm
Mmm there's only one way down

I'm giving you up
I've forgiven it all
You set me free-ee, oh

Send my love to your new lover
Treat her better
We gotta let go of all of our ghosts
We both know we ain't kids no more
Send my love to your new lover
Treat her better
We've gotta let go of all of our ghosts
We both know we ain't kids no more

If you're ready, if you're ready
If you're ready, I am ready
If you're ready, if you're ready
We both know we ain't kids no more
No, we ain't kids no more

I'm giving you up
I've forgiven it all
You set me free

Send my love to your new lover
Treat her better
We've gotta let go of all of our ghosts
We both know we ain't kids no more
Send my love to your new lover
Treat her better
We gotta let go of all of our ghosts
We both know we ain't kids no more

If you're ready, if you're ready (Send my love to your new lover)
If you're ready, I am ready (Treat her better)
We've gotta let go of all of our ghosts
We both know we ain't kids no more
If you're ready, if you're ready (Send my love to your new lover)
If you're ready, I am ready (Treat her better)
We've gotta let go of all of our ghosts
We both know we ain't kids no more

Recently on 16 May 2016, Coldplay has released the music video of their latest single "Up&Up" which is the eleventh and final song from their seventh album "A Head Full Of Dreams" (2015). The amazing music video which is directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia depicts surreal scenes such as floating turtle at a subway, volcano erupting popcorns instead of lava, a flying stingray in the air, oversized Chris Martin lying on terrains and the likes. Despite being bizarre and completely against the norm, I find the music video somewhat fascinating, alluring and coupled with the dreamy tone, it is also soothing.

"This is kind of song we've been waiting to write for 15 years." -Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin

According to MTV's UK site, it describes the music video as "weird and wonderful in every aspect" as well as "Magical yet poignant". Both Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia stated that they were inspired by many collage artists, past and present. Hopefully the image do the rest of the talking." What do you think of Coldplay's "Up&Up"? Let me know in the comment box below. Till then, au revoir!

Up&Up lyrics

Fixing up a car to drive in it again
Searching for the water hoping for the rain
Up and up, up and up
Down upon the canvas, working meal to meal
Waiting for a chance to pick your orange field
Up and up, up and up
See a pearl form, a diamond in the rough
See a bird soaring high above the flood
It’s in your blood, it’s in your blood
Underneath the storm an umbrella is saying
Sitting with the poison takes away the pain
Up and up, up and up it’s saying

We’re going to get it get it together right now
Going to get it get it together somehow
Going to get it get it together and flower
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
We’re going to get it get it together I know
Going to get it get it together and flow
Going to get it get it together and go
Up and up and up

Lying in the gutter, aiming for the moon
Trying to empty out the ocean with a spoon
Up and up, up and up
How come people suffer how come people part?
How come people struggle how come people break your heart?
Break your heart
Yes I want to grow yes I want to feel
Yes I want to know show me how to heal it up
Heal it up
See the forest there in every seed
Angels in the marble waiting to be freed
Just need love just need love
When the going is rough saying

We’re going to get it get it together right now
Going to get it get it together somehow
Going to get it get it together and flower
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
We’re going to get it get it together I know
Going to get it get it together and flow
Going to get it get it together and go
Up and up and up

And you can say what is, or fight for it
Close your mind or take a risk
You can say it’s mine and clench your fist
Or see each sunrise as a gift

We’re going to get it get it together right now
Going to get it get it together somehow
Going to get it get it together and flower
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
We’re going to get it get it together I know
Going to get it get it together and flow
Going to get it get it together and go
Up and up and up

We’re going to get it get it together right now
Going to get it get it together somehow
Going to get it get it together and flower
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
We’re going to get it get it together I know
Going to get it get it together and flow
Going to get it get it together and go

Up and up and up

Oh-oh oh, oh-oh oh oh oh oh

Fixing up a car to drive in it again
When you’re in pain
When you think you’ve had enough
Don’t ever give up
Don’t ever give up

So this week, I have found out about this amazing song "Me, Myself And I" sang by American rapper G-Easy as well as Albanian-American singer Bebe Rexha. It is released as the first single of his second studio album "When It's Dark Out". Written by Rexha, G-Easy, Lauren Christy, TMS and Michael Keenan, the song was released on October 14, 2015 and peaked at number 7 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In the music video which was released on October 29 2015, G-Easy seems to face his inner conflict whereby he merely does not have the mood to celebrate his birthday despite his girlfriend secretly organising a surprise birthday party for him. He then splits into two where one stays to mingle with the crowds while the other goes into the bathroom to escape the party. When 4 G-Easy appear, the 26 years old is literally battling with himself over his mixed feelings about the birthday party.

In my opinion, I really like the part where Bebe Rexha sings. Not only is her vocal sounds incredible, the lyrics are meaningful where " It's just me myself and I, solo ride until I die, cause I got me for life, I don't need a hand to hold, even when the night is cold, I got that fire in my soul" reflects it is alright to be loner-for-life. What do you think of the song? Let me know your opinion in the comment box below. Till then, au revoir!

Me, Myself and I lyrics

[Bebe Rexha (G-Eazy):]
Oh, it's just me, myself and I
Solo ride until I die
'Cause I got me for life
(yeah)
Oh I don't need a hand to hold
Even when the night is cold
I got that fire in my soul

[G-Eazy:]
And as far as I can see I just need privacy
Plus a whole lot of tree, fuck all this modesty
I just need space to do me get a world that they're tryna see
A Stella Maxwell right beside of me
A Ferrari I'm buyin' three
A closet of Saint Laurent, get what I want when I want
'Cause this hunger is driving me, yeah
I just need to be alone, I just need to be at home
Understand what I'm speaking on if time is money I need a loan
But regardless I'll always keep keepin' on
Fuck fake friends, we don't take L's we just make M's
While y'all follow, we just make trends
I'm right back to work when that break ends

[Bebe Rexha (G-Eazy):]
Oh, it's just me, myself and I
Solo ride until I die
'Cause I got me for life
(Got me for life, yeah)
Oh I don't need a hand to hold
Even when the night is cold
I got that fire in my soul

[Bebe Rexha (G-Eazy):]
I don't need anything to get me through the night
Except the beat that's in my heart
Yeah, it's keeping me alive
(Keeps me alive)
I don't need anything to make me satisfied (you know)
'Cause the music does me good and it gets me every time

[G-Eazy:]
Yeah, and I don't like talking to strangers
So get the fuck off me I'm anxious
I'm tryna be cool but I may just go ape shit
Say "fuck y'all" to all of y'all faces
It changes though now that I'm famous
Everyone knows how this lifestyle is dangerous
But I love it the rush is amazing
Celebrate nightly and everyone rages
I found how to cope with my anger
I'm swimming in money
Swimming in liquor my liver is muddy
But it's all good I'm still sippin' this bubbly
This shit is lovely, this shit ain't random, I didn't get lucky
Made it right here 'cause I'm sick with it Cudi
They all take the money for granted
But don't want to work for it tell me now, isn't it funny? Nah

[Bebe Rexha (G-Eazy)]
Oh, it's just me, myself and I
Solo ride until I die
'Cause I got me for life
(Got me for life, yeah)
Oh I don't need a hand to hold
Even when the night is cold
I got that fire in my soul

[Bebe Rexha (G-Eazy)]
I don't need anything to get me through the night
Except the beat that's in my heart
Yeah, it's keeping me alive
(Keeps me alive)
I don't need anything to make me satisfied (you know)
'Cause the music does me good and it gets me every time

[Bebe Rexha (G-Eazy)]
Like ba-ba-ba-ba-da-ba
Ba-ba-ba-da-ba (Yee!)
Ba-ba-ba-ba-da-ba
Ba-ba-ba-da-ba
Ba-ba-ba-ba-da-ba
Ba-ba-ba-da-ba
'Cause the music does me good and it gets me every time

[G-Eazy]
Yeah, lonely nights I laid awake
Pray to lord, my soul to take
My heart's become too cold to break
Know I'm great but I'm broke as hell
Having dreams that I'm folding cake
All my life I've been told to wait
But I'mma get it now, yeah it's no debate
Yeah

[Bebe Rexha (G-Eazy)]
Oh, it's just me, myself and I
Solo ride until I die
'Cause I got me for life
(Got me for life, yeah)
Oh I don't need a hand to hold
Even when the night is cold
I got that fire in my soul

[Bebe Rexha (G-Eazy)]
I don't need anything to get me through the night
Except the beat that's in my heart
Yeah, it's keeping me alive
(Keeps me alive)
I don't need anything to make me satisfied (you know)
'Cause the music does me good and it gets me every time

[Bebe Rexha]
Like ba-ba-ba-ba-da-ba
Ba-ba-ba-da-ba
Ba-ba-ba-ba-da-ba
Ba-ba-ba-da-ba
Ba-ba-ba-ba-da-ba
Ba-ba-ba-da-ba
'Cause the music does me good and it gets me every time

Recently I have came across this song called "Cake By The Ocean". As curious as I was, I started searching for the band who was performing this song. To my surprise, "Cake By The Ocean" is the debut single by an American band DNCE which was released on 18 September 2015 and in fact, Joe Jonas is one of the members in the band! According to Joe on MTV News, "I had an idea to start a band on my own for quite a while and was waiting for the right time. I have known Jack and JinJoo for years, almost 10 years at this point, and played on and off with both of them and Cole just fell into our laps at the perfect moment and we formed DNCE." Besides, the song is the lead single from their debut EP "SWAAY". The writers of "Cake by The Ocean" include Joe Jonas himself, Justin Tranter, and the Swedish duo Mattman and Robin. Initially, the Swedish producers actually misunderstood the phrase "Sex On The Beach" with "Cake By The Ocean". Hence that is how the title of the song formed.

“Working on the record, these Swedish producers that we were working with, they kept confusing ’sex on the beach’ with ’cake by the ocean,’ so that’s how the song started....Then, it became this kind of lyrically wacky song, and it kind of embodies the band. It’s funky, it’s fresh, I think it’s something that people can dance to.” -Joe Jonas on MTV News.

What do you think of the song by DNCE? If you have not already listened to the song, watch the music video and let me know your thoughts in the comments below . Till then, au revoir.

Cake By The Beach lyrics

See you walking 'round like it's a funeral
Not so serious, girl; why those feet cold?
We just getting started; don't you tiptoe, tiptoe, ah

Waste time with a masterpiece, don't waste time with a masterpiece
You should be rolling with me, you should be rolling with me, ah
You're a real-life fantasy, you're a real-life fantasy
But you're moving so carefully; let's start living dangerously

Talk to me, baby
I'm going to miss this sweet craving, whoa-oh
Let's lose our minds and go fucking crazy
I-I-I-I-I-I keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean
Walk for me, baby
I'll be Didd and you'll be Naomi, whoa-oh
Let's lose our minds and go fucking crazy
I-I-I-I-I-I keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean

God damn
See you licking frosting from your own hands
Want another taste, I'm begging, yes ma'am
I'm tired of all this candy on the dry land, dry land, oh

Waste time with a masterpiece, don't waste time with a masterpiece
You should be rolling with me, you should be rolling with me, ah
You're a real-life fantasy, you're a real-life fantasy
But you're moving so carefully; let's start living dangerously

Talk to me, baby
I'm going to miss this sweet craving, whoa-oh
Let's lose our minds and go fucking crazy
I-I-I-I-I-I keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean
Walk for me, baby (walk for me now)
I'll be Didd and you'll be Naomi, whoa-oh
Let's lose our minds and go fucking crazy
I-I-I-I-I-I keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean
I-I-I-I-I-I keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean
I-I-I-I-I-I keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean

You're fucking delicious
Talk to me, girl

Talk to me, baby
I'm going to miss this sweet craving, whoa-oh
Let's lose our minds and go fucking crazy
I-I-I-I-I-I keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean
Walk for me, baby (walk for me now)
I'll be Didd and you'll be Naomi, whoa-oh
Let's lose our minds and go fucking crazy (that's right)
I-I-I-I-I-I keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean

Red velvet, vanilla, chocolate in my life
Confetti, I'm ready; I need it every night
Red velvet, vanilla, chocolate in my life
I-I-I-I-I-I keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean
