US legendary comedian Joan Rivers passed away on September 4, 2014, surrounded by her friends and family when her daughter, Melissa Rivers decided to remove her mother from life support. This tragic incident all started back when Joan Rivers stopped breathing and having heart attack (respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest) during a procedure on her vocal cord (endoscopy) at Yorksville Endoscopy clinic on August 28, 2014. She was then immediately transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment and since then she was in coma state and depended on life support. Melissa Rivers then made a heartbreaking decision of removing Joan Rivers from live support and let the nature to take its course. This is a devastating news to all, especially her family and friends.In addition, E! Fashion police would never be the same without the presence of Joan Rivers. Rest In Peace Joan Rivers.
